‘Christian Boko Haram’: I Have Lost Respect For Zulum’ – Femi Kayode

The Cracks Are Widening, Nigeria May Not Be One For Much Longer - Ex-Minister

The Minister of Aviation under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Femi Fani-Kayode, has condemned Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, for accusing Christians, white men and Asians of being Boko Haram members.

Naija News had earlier reported that the Borno State Governor accused Christians, Muslims, white men and Asians of been members of Boko Haram.

Babagana while speaking at the 17th Chief Gani Fawehinmi Annual Lecture organised by the Nigerian Bar Association in Ikeja, Lagos State, called on Nigerians to see insurgency as a national issue and not just a Northeast problem alone.

He further stated that the high rate of unemployment, poverty, drug abuse and nepotism are causes of terrorism and banditry.

The former Minister in his reaction on Twitter described Governor Zulum’s allegations as lies from the pit of hell.

Fani-Kayode further stated that no real Christian will be in the ranks of an Islamic terror group whose objective is to wipe Christianity off the face of the earth.

He wrote, “The allegation that there are Christians in Boko Haram by Gov. Zulum of Borno state is a lie from the pit of hell.”

“No real Christian will be in the ranks of an Islamic terror group whose objective is to wipe Christianity off the face of the earth.”

“I have lost respect for Zulum.”

Meanwhile, the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has been challenged by the Christian Association of Nigeria, to release evidence of Christians who belong to the terrorist group, Boko Haram.

The General Secretary of CAN, Joseph Daramola, reacted to the allegation during an interview with Punch on Monday.
