The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday night reports three-hundred-and-thirty-eight new cases of Coronavirus in the country.

The new update brings the total cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria to 5959.

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday, May 18 2020, address Nigerians in a national broadcast over the coronavirus pandemic.

This was made known by the National Coordinator of the presidential task force on COVID-19, Aliyu Sani, during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

Naija News reports that the first phase of the gradual easing of the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown comes to an end.

Inmates Protest In Detention Amid Coronavirus In Nigeria

Inmates of Aba Federal Correctional centre have staged a protest in the facility amid Coronavirus in Nigeria.

A report monitored The Nation newspaper by Naija News the protesters were asking for their release following the orders of President Muhammadu Buhari.

On Saturday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), announced that Nigeria has reported one hundred and seventy-six confirmed new cases of Coronavirus in the country. This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 5621.

FG Impounds British Aircraft For Operating Commercial Flight Amid COVID-19

The Federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has impounded an aircraft belonging to Flair Aviation, a United Kingdom-based aviation company for operating a commercial flight as against the humanitarian operations it was given approval for in Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika ordered the impoundment of the British aircraft for conducting commercial flights into Nigeria despite the ban on all commercial flights amid Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the country.

The Aviation Minister who confirmed this on his official twitter handle on Sunday, said Flair Aviation crew are also being interrogated as there shall be maximum penalty for the offence.

VIDEO: WHO Offered Us $20m To Poison COVID Organic – Madagascar President Reveals

President Andry Rajoelina of Madagascar has accused the World Health Organisation (WHO) of offering his country $20m to poison the coronavirus (COVID-19) cure.

Naija News reports that the African country had produced a herbal mixture called ‘COVID Organics’, which it claims cures COVID-19.

According to the Tanzania Perspective, Rajoelina insisted that the herbal remedy made from Artemisia can cure COVID-19 patients within ten days.
