Portuguese International footballer and Juventus striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has again bagged another record in his career as he beats other sportsmen to earn $1 billion.
According to records, the striker is the first player to have reached such a height in earning.
The new achievement brings Ronaldo to third the likes of Tiger Woods and Floyd Mayweather to have hit the $1 billion earnings as athletes, Forbes affirms.
Reports have it that $650 million of the Seria A player’s new earning record come from his football salary, Naija News learnt. Ronaldo is no doubt one of the most celebrated players in football history, from his exceptional performance on the pitch down to his lifestyle.
Recently, Juventus Turin midfielder, Aaron Ramsey described the player as selfless. According to Ramsey in a recent Instagram post, Cristiano Ronaldo’s sense of selflessness helped him integrate quickly into Italy.
Ramsey while narrating his first encounter with the forward said, “Besides being an incredible player, Cristiano is also a very good person, one of the best in football history,”
He added, ” When I saw him during the first training session, I went to the canteen and he asked me to sit with him. We talked a lot and it struck me because it immediately made me feel comfortable. Cristiano is a wonderful person. He loves his teammates and always does his best in training.”
