How I Was Robbed Due To Impatience – Man Narrates

A Nigerian actor and screenplay writer identified as Kelvin on the microblogging site, Twitter, has shared a regrettable event that happened to him which also taught him an unforgettable lesson on the importance of patience.

No doubt, impatience in most cases has resulted in the loss of important opportunities, brings about regrets, and as well have left many with a stigma that may never be wiped off.

According to the young man, he was robbed last year after several attempts to transfer money to an account failed and he decided to try the alternative.

Kelvin revealed that he was forced out of anxiety, following the mobile transfer failure to withdraw all the money in his account so he could deposit the money to the recipient account via the counter.

However, due to the long queue at the bank branch, he was frustrated and left the queue to visit another branch within his reach.

Unfortunately for him, on reaching the next bank branch, he tried to bring out the money he withdrew from the other bank so he could make the deposit but found nothing in his bag.

According to Kelvin, the incident humbled him and he could not relate it to his people.

He tweeted, “Late last year, I tried transfer, it kept failing, so I decided to do it manually. I withdrew every dime in my account so I can deposit it at counter, the queue was long, so I decided to go to another branch, I took Public transport.”

“At the other branch it got to my turn quickly. I unzipped my bag to bring out the cash and found nothing. There is a type of urine that fills bladder immediately. I was so ashamed that I couldn’t tell my family.”

“Have you been robbed or scammed before? What is your story?” Kelvin asked.
