Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, on Tuesday, met with President Muhammadu Buhari to inform him about his intention to seek a second term in office under the All Progressives Congress.
The Ondo State Governor during the visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja, presented his Expression of Interest forms to the President at the meeting.
Akeredolu at the end of the meeting while speaking with State House correspondents stated that he is sure of victory in the forthcoming governorship election.
He said he was ready for any mode of primary adopted by the party either direct or indirect primary.
Recall that Akeredolu, on Monday, stated that the governorship election in the state will be a walkover for him if the All Progressives Congress gives him the ticket.
