President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with members of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) and heads of security agencies at his palace in Abuja.
The meeting is linked to the government’s efforts to address security concerns in some parts of the country.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and the Presidential Security Adviser, Babagana Monguna, also attended the meeting.
Other leaders of the armed forces and security agencies also attended the meeting.
Some of the governors who will be attending the online conference include Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello; Douye Diri of Bayelsa State; Babagana Zulum of Borno State; David Umahi of Ebonyi State and Babajide Sanwo Olu of Lagos State.
On Monday, Buhari met with governors of the North-Eastern states on security issues.
