2. PDP Suspends Dogara, Sen. Suleiman Hunkuyi, Five Others (Full List)

The Kaduna State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committee has suspended Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, Dr Dogara Mato and five others for anti-party activities in from Lere local government area. Naija News reports that the Kaduna State Working Committee (SWC) of the opposition party took the decision to suspend the members after a preliminary hearing on discipline.

3. Buhari Receives Madagascar Cure For Coronavirus, Makes Vow

President Muhammadu Buhari has received Madagascar cure prepared for the treatment of the Coronavirus patients. Naija News reports that President Buhari received the Madagascan native formulation against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on Saturday at the State House in Abuja, a statement issued by Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity revealed.

4. Lagos Discharges 67 Coronavirus Patients, Total Now 608

The Lagos State Government led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the discharge of sixty-seven coronavirus patients after testing negative twice for the virus, bringing the number of discharged COVID-19 patients in Lagos to 608. Naija News reports that the Lagos State Governor disclose this in a statement on Saturday, adding that the 67 COVID-19 patients were discharged from four isolation centres after testing negative twice for the virus.

Another Coronavirus patient has delivered a baby boy in Lagos isolation centre. Naija News learned that the Coronavirus patient delivered the baby through a caesarean section at the Gbagada isolation centre on Saturday.

The Plateau State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committee has suspended eight members of the party for floating a factional state’s Caretaker Committee. This was made known in a statement on Saturday by the Committee’s head of media, Mr John Akans.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government to disclose the whereabouts of doctors brought from China to combat the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19). Naija News recalls that the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire had last Thursday noted that the government was not keeping a close tab on the movement and activities of the Chinese medical team that arrived in the country on 8th April 2020.
