Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Usman Nagogo has given directives for the arrest of yet to be known individual (s) responsible for the death of one Mr Enoch Okpara, who was murdered at his home in Gusau, the state capital.
Naija News learnt that The medical practitioner was reportedly found almost unrecognized due to the extent at which he was burnt with a fire set by the perpetrators.
However, a statement released by the state police command through its spokesperson, Shehu Mohammed, revealed that an investigation aimed at arresting the perpetrators of the horrific murder of the doctor has been launched in other to ensure they face the law.
Naija News understands that the deceased before his death was a consultant Obstetrics/Gynaecologist working at the Federal Medical Centre in Gusau.
The decease was noticed to have missed a programme on Saturday morning at his Church. His body was, however, discovered in his apartment after members of the church called the attention of the security men.
Reports revealed that his phone lines had rung several times but no response. Suspecting something bad might have happened to the dedicated member after the silence from the calls, the leaders reached out to his colleagues at the FMC and finally, they found him dead following the arrival of the police at his house.
Naija News gathered that bloodstains were seen on the walls of the room while the deceased remain was found burnt almost to ashes.
